Welcome to Hallam Grange bowling club

Hallam Grange is a private club, forming part of Hallam Grange Lawn Tennis Club, offering social and league bowls for men and women. Friendly matches and club tournaments are organised by the club captain. New members of any age and ability always welcome. Short mat bowls available in the winter

We are located to the West of the City on Slayleigh Lane off Fulwood Road (See Map).

Extraordinary General Meeting
on
Monday 14th November
at 7:30pm
The Bowls Club Members are invited to an EGM to consider action that could save the club a considerable amount of money.
The Club has to consider and vote on a Rule Change to take advantage of a
Council Tax reduction -
hence this EGM

Sheffield Park's League

Hallam Grange members enjoying the Sheffield Park's League presentation dinner held at Niagara Sports Club on Friday November 4th 2016.

Hallam Grange A Doubles Team, captained by Anne Turner, won the Coy Trophy [Division 2].

 Hallam Grange B Doubles team, captained by Sheila Bromidge, won the Armitage Shield [Division 3].

 Martin Westley collected his award for the leading average in the Hobson Cup league in which the Hallam Grange Mens Vets team, captained by Trevor Kelly, came runners up.

This is the second year in a row that Martin has won this award.

The Greens Committee have held extensive discussions with the groundsman and have decided that
 the Green will close from
Monday 17th October.

Watch this space for updates on the Autumn/Winter Green maintenance and for the date of opening next March.
