Welcome to Hallam Grange Bowling club

Hallam Grange is a private club, forming part of Hallam Grange Lawn Tennis Club, offering social and league bowls for men and women. Friendly matches and club tournaments are organised by the club captain. New members of any age and ability always welcome. Short mat bowls available in the winter

We are located to the West of the City on Slayleigh Lane off Fulwood Road (See Map).

Scarborough Weekend

We have identified the weekend that of Saturday/Sunday 11/12 of August for our visit to North Cliff BC in Scarborough.
If you're interested the Captain needs to know in order to confirm things with North Cliff BC.

We have a limit of 16 places so if you're interested you need to make this known ASAP.

We will play an internal Hallam Grange match at North Cliff BC on the Saturday morning and on Sunday we will play against North Cliff BC.

Travel and Accommodation

Members will make their own travel and accommodation arrangements although we can recommend a couple of hotels.

Friendlies

The friendlies against Abbeydale BC and Tideswell BC have filled up nicely but do add your names as reserves.


Social Bowling

Social Bowling is available on Wednesdays
10-12pm and on Saturdays 2-4pm.
Please just turn up and have a game - great for practise or informal coaching.

Interested in the 100 Club?

If you who want to join the 100 Club there is a form to sign up in the Clubhouse.
The 100 Club is a fund raising venture for the overall Club and costs £24/year.

Finally a reminder that members who come down for roll up or a private game. please remember to sign in in the Diary in the pavilion. 


All to Note: The new Water Boiler has been installed and is now working. This is fully Automatic, all you need to do is touch the Tap on the front of the boiler -
please do not touch or adjust anything else
.
